Louise and Gilles trip part one: the mountains

As soon as Maggie and Camille were gone, Louise and I stuffed the car and jumped in heading for Luchon, a small town in the Pyrénées.

We had snow, we had sun. Louise did pretty well on skis and I did pretty well

as a ski lift.

It was fun to finally bring her to this place where I spent so many summers as a kid. My grandmother used to have a house in Luchon so this place is for me filled with lots of memories.

And now Louise and I have created new memories there.

The only disappointement: groundhogs do hibernate and Louise's dream of seing one had to be postponed to next summer...
