Gilles and I escaped to London this past weekend to visit some friends, leaving the girls in the care of Gilles' dad and stepmom. They navigated us through London via Portobello market, and we stood through 3 hours of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the Globe Theatre - well worth the sore legs. We stopped along the way for plenty of ethnic and British treats, and had our initiation to pims and pickled cockles. Yum!

parents only - weekend in london

mia's b-day
We had a little party for Mia in town, at the café where our friend Sarah organises games for kids on Wednesdays. Mia was full of smiles and the kids had a great time racing around outside with balloons. Louise found all the attention and presents her sister was getting a little hard to take. And I found it hard to believe that my little baby is already 6!
