2nd stop - London
On to London via the Chunnel. We were warmly received by Céline & Alex, and their smiley daughter Ivy, took as many double-decker red buses as we could, went on the Harry Potter walk in some of the oldest streets of London, and visited Kew Gardens (thinking of Aunt Betony whose Bornean plants are still somewhere in there...). We did some window-shopping (the French call it window-licking!), celebrated the Chinese New Year at Trafalgar Square (sorry, no picture) and ended with Dickens - a wonderful performance of Oliver Twist. Camille was absolutely delighted!
Maggie - Barbara is here and it is raining "like a cow who pisses" and Olivia has the day off from school. We just looked at your newest update and are wishing we were walking the streets of Paris with you. Love to you all - have a great trip.
