plans for our addition

Here's a glimpse of what our house will look like someday soon. We're planning to add on a wood frame structure, for a bedroom and bathroom. These are the rear and side views we drew for the permit (minus the coloring of course).

workshop (kitchen???): phase 2

Having replaced the wooden beams that suppport the ceiling with nice new oak ones, Gilles went at the walls with the help of the girls. That's lime stucco - yessirree! Then heftier help came along to lay the floor - cement mixers, tractors and big, strong papas. My job was kitchen and kid duty (a houseful of fun little girls) and in spite of the rain, we had a great day. Now the basement is looking so nice, I'm thinking it would make a fine new kitchen, with bay windows looking out at garden. Hmmmm....

not enough for sledding, but still pretty
