The pictures don't show the tasty fare created for our delight (homemade ginger drink, hibiscus tea and rose wine, mint-olive pesto, carrot-cheese soufflé) nor the brave volunteers who tended the bonfire and grilled platter after platter of lamb cuts, nor the two musicians in our midst with hurdy gurdy, accordeon, bagpipes and fiddles, nor the perfect starlit summer night, nor the lavish desserts our guests concocted (green tea mousse, banana rum pie, glazed zuccini cake, and an impressive fleet of chocolate wonders dressed up with berries, creams, and one with a tiny house on top...), nor even the incredible sight of Gilles in his fine clothes...But maybe these few snapshots show a little of the magic... All I can say is everyone was perfect!
