We've been fixing up our ol' VW van these past weeks, getting ready for festival season. So it looked pretty cute (inside at least) by the time we set off last weekend. We spun along lovely little roads through rolling hills and shady forests, passing many a singing creek and glimmering lake, feeling pretty pleased with ourselves indeed. The kids got to experience a deluxe road trip, and as an added bonus, got their first taxi ride and the sight of our van being towed away after the radiator blew. Hopefully, it will be fixed before next weekend so we can do it again!!
