We were a big hit with the pigeons at the Eiffel tower, and with the gulls who have an amazing capacity to differentiate a chunk of bread from a chunk of cheese. They leave the bread, but swoop in from a distance to snag a bit of cheese before the pigeons can say Jack Robinson.
We took the stairs up the tower - to the second story, already plenty dizzying enough for me. C walked the whole way up and down and still had enough energy left to climb a tree in the park at the bottom
