After a quick trip down, over and up (down to Toulouse, over to the beautiful Basque coast with its exhilirating knock-you-down waves, then up to central-France for a festival of "trad" music and instrument makers), we are settling down at home for the summer. Picnics, play, hammocking, trips to the market, early morning weeding, starry starry nights... the warm-weather best of living out here. The kids are up to all their favorite shenanigans. Plus, nice visits to look forward to - Betony and Brent are soon to arrive!
